Joseph W. Dalton
President, Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce
Joe Dalton, President of the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce, began his career with the chamber in 1970. Since that time, he has established the chamber as a vital organization in the Saratoga community and expanded the chamber’s membership base from 330 members to its current level of 2,800 members.
Joe was one of three founders of the Saratoga Economic Development Corporation and one of the three founders of the Saratoga Springs Plan of Action. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Saratoga Convention & Tourism Bureau since its inception and served as Chairman of a three-county Private Industry Council for over a decade. Joe has led or been a part of numerous fund raising efforts for local non-profits, including the annual NYRA Open Houses, Saratoga Hospital, the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, the YMCA of Saratoga, Saratoga Central Catholic, Saratoga Bridges, United Way, St. Clement’s Saratoga Horse Show and the NYS Military Museum.
During his tenure at the Chamber, Joe was recognized as one of approximately 240 Certified Chamber Executives in the United States, earned the Chamber the Accreditation by the U.S. Chamber, served on the national Chamber Executive Board twice, and was the President of the New York State Association of Chamber Executives.
